How to increace MPG?

How to increace MPG on mazda 3? i think my car could go only up to 200mile.

could anyone know how to increace MPG?

what model do you have?

I average 27.5mpg with a low of 25 and last week got a high of 31.4mpg.

only thing i can think of would be to change the air filter to a K&N drop in.

Drive slower.

I average 29 mpg from my 2.0L 5-speed, I regularly go 360-380 miles before I put more gas in....

I bet he has a 2.3L auto...lol.

i drive my 2.0L 5-speed like i stole it...and usually get the 27.5

I just filled up and much to my amazement, I got 28.65mpg last tankful. That's a 2.3L, 5-speed, hatch, A/C on sometimes and city traffic, and I have been sliding around the corners of the back roads too. It's usually this time of year when my mileage is dropping to 24-25!

The ATX really seems to destroy mileage for some ppl... especiallyw/the 2.3L.

But I think we lost or original poster/thread starter?? 1 post and done???
