Yeah, although this might sound a little contradicting to my ^post^ earlier, I'm not a big fan of the new civics. For me, the '97 style exterior/interior/engine bay was great... it was simple and straight-forward. The outside wasgood looking, especially if you lowered it with some nice wheels and kept the paint ok, and the interior was plain but practical. Of course, the main reason I'm not a huge fan of the new Civics really comes down to theengine bay that's stacked vertically more than horizontally, meaning the hood is short and everything is crammed together and stacked up and down, not spread out like my '97 was. The '97s(of the 96-00 generation) had a nice big engine bay with everything in plain view with a lot of space and simplicity to navigate, whether for modding purposes or just tune-ups and cleaning. I'm so happy my Mazda3 has a nice open hood!!!
