Not British, but it's a habit after watching so much Top Gear. I tend to say boot as well.

As a matter of fact, I almost used that word also but reconsidered it before sending the post.

Happy Birthday V1!!

Oh andthis is my 4010th post here too.
41K in four years? Do you have another vehicle you use for some of your everyday driving? Carpooling?

Nope. But w/so much to do around here, and being pretty much of a homebody these days anyway I mostly just drive to work and back again. Traffic is beginning to suck BIG TIME around here so it's only fun to drive very early in the morning, when I go to workanyway.
Cell phones, loud bumping stereos, low/slow riders, blue tooth whatever's, people that should not have qualified for a driver's licence in the first place or blue hair's that have lost the ability to drive....andSLO-POKES, or big trucksdriving in EVERY FREAKIN' LANE most of the time!!!!
And besides, why waste the gas @ $3.50-$4.00/gal? 'Bout 10-10.5k/yr.

Here's a dead thread, back from the dead.....

What did I do to MY Mazda3 today, you might ask?
1) Cleaned the CAI filter.
2) Removed and cleared the rain water (yes, W-A-T-E-R) out of the LS fog light. I hope I was able to seal it so that doesn't happen again?
3) And over the past few days, have been preparing to install new Lamin-X film on the heads and fogs by removing the the Ole' RockBlockers (now out of business) that were faded and burned. In spite of what they say about most of the adhesive coming right off, mine did not, so it took some elbow grease and 1/2 a bottle of Goo Gone, but it wasn't that bad. The good news is that the RB's did their job and did it well. The hl lenses were in as good shape today as they were four years ago when I originally installed the RB's. My lenses were already starting to "go bad" back then. This time I fully polished (Turtle Wax car polish. It worked GREAT!) and cleaned them before the new install. A worth-while mod, IMO, which is why I chose to do it again.
4) Installed new blue Lamin-X on all fours.....
