I bought a navigation SD card from Amazon or similar. Works fine for what is in it, but it refuses to take a new address. Have tried via both the manual input and audio.

So, am using an old Garmin. Only problem with the Garmin is it does not work plugged into the USB plug.

This is a 2024.

Anyone know why the GPS will not take a new address?

 

Generally it is how you input the information. I understand it can be frustrating sometimes especially when you are in a hurry. it's happened to me a few times. But after I try a couple different way to input the info it seems to work? The other thing is when I use, say my cell phone instead when I arrive and want to save the location on my Mazda's nav mapping info it magically is there. So that also makes me think I did something wrong. lol

I will say it is a gable of quality to get one anywhere online except from the actual auto manufacture.

I always carry a Garmin with me not matter which vehcle I drive just in case. And I even for weekend get aways carry a paper AAA map. LOL
