Hey all I have a Mazda 3 2005 BK Hatch
The fob key isn't registering with me car(even after I do the whole open door/ key in ignition steps ect)

the only thing I can think of is maybe the fuse is faulty.

Does anybody know which fuse is used to control/ activate the FOB key? interior or exterior fuse?
is it specifically one fuse, or is it one fuse that controls other aspects of the car eg radio ect? because radio and everything else is working fine

Do you only have one remote?

Keyless entry works off the Room fuse.

 

no I have 2 remotes. Somebody mentioned that as it’s the original remote and it’s 17 years old, the transmitter has probably had it? Even Though it still shows it has power

 

You can buy cheap remotes on eBay. Just make sure they are exactly the same as yours.

 

did this ever get resolved? fob receiver not working? same happened to me, disconnected / reconnected car battery and both remotes sopped working. i see a lot of posts on other forums for this but never a resolution.
