Given that the engine is still far from being broken in (from a fuel economy perspective), and given that the temperatures have often been well below freezing, I am thinking that a 30 mpg overall average is pretty good for a car used for a daily commute to and from work.

 

I just got a pretty decent run on a 1/4 tank at 91.2 miles.

 

I get between 35-40mpg all the time.

 

keep in mind knuckle, that im running in a 2.3L auto. from my experience, thats pretty good for the 2.3 auto.

 

I have gotten as high as 37MPG and as low as 26MPG, but on the average I am getting pretty close to what you are with my MTX and 30% in town driving, all highway I have not been below 33.5 MPG.

 

2.3? wouldnt that make your car an "s" touring and not an "i" touring? Last I checked all i models were 2.0 and s models were 2.3.

But yeah for a 2.3 auto that is really good.
