What ho one and all,

My recently acquired 2015 Mazda 3, is as I understand it, the basic model and does not have folding mirrors.

But today, owning to a tight-ish parking space, I did fold the mirrors to get more door opening space. Kinda forgot to unfold upon return but when I started the car, they both unfolded. Obviously, the mechanism is part of the mirror.

There is no fold option in the various settings but is there a way to activate this function?

Stop looking; found it. Turn the adjuster **** to the 12:00 position.

Indeed I did. But a search with the assistance of Dr Google and I found a Crapstagram video so went to the car and tried. I don't have the folding mirrors on lock function, but this will be occasionally useful.
