Does any body know the wattage of the bose system in an 07 MS3 GT?I bought the car used and I think the right front door is blown. I might try and replace more speakers also. For being a Bose system it doesn't sound all that good. Any suggestions on replacing all the speakers but the tweeters? I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money either. I have have had great success w/ middle line pioneers in the past. Thanks all!

the bose system in a 2007 ms3 gt has a 222-Watt digital amplifier.

i agree with you on the quality of the system. i think the audio-system offered in my 2004 3s wagon is of much better quality...it just doesnt have the 'bose' name. the EQ can be adjusted for lows, mids, and highs for an overall good/personalized sound.

 

Is that 222x6? If so that's rather pathetic. It semms that unless you want to spend insane amounts of $ then you're stuck with what you got. Any suggestions on inexpensive upgrades?

 

1. You can gut your Bose system altogether.

2. You could find some eff. 2ohm speakers to replace the Bose speakers.
