Default Exhaust pop

When I let off the gas in gear and let it engine brake, when it reaches around 1k rpm, the exhaust will make popping noises
I changed the oil recently, would some injector cleaner do the trick? Its an 09 with 4,400 miles

I love the popping exhaust noise. It is a trademark of a free flowing exhaust system. Has something to do with cooler air getting sucked up into the heads during deceleration. Doesn't hurt anything, just sounds cool. I had a Harley w/ 2" drags that sounded like a machine gun when you let off the gas. Totally awesome.

I have an 04 with a glass pack and the original cat, no resonators or mufflers to speak and mine sounds like that when i down shift from 2nd to 1st around the range, you aren't backfiring but it is kinda so do say, you are just detonation gas in your exhaust rather than your block due to less back pressure.

From 4th to 3rd gear, 30MPH will do the popping, 3rd to 2nd its 20MPH, and from 2nd to 1st, it's 15 mph. I do this all the time, and for some reason it's an instant "Lets Race", typical from the Honda tools tho.
