That's the oil filler cap and has a seal in it. Don't know if you can buy the seal seperate or with the cap.

Sorry I have the wrong saved image ..This is the culprit.. Is it a simple job or complex to do

There is oil pooling a bit near the #1 Spark plug that's coming from the circled area

If that's got wires going to it it's most likely the VVT solenoid. Perhaps someone that's done one can tell you whats involved to replace the seal. It looks like you have to replace the valve cover but lets see other responses.

There is no seal on the valve cover for the oil cap. The sealing o-ring is on the oil cap

The seal you need Valve Cover Sensor Seal.
Because you did give the exact year and engine size double check the application for the seal

Doing the labor with common tools is about1 hour, but it may vary slightly depending on the year .

There you go. Question Callisto can you replace it without removing the valve cover?

No. As I said an easy DUY in about an hour (maybe 1.5 for first time) simple tool.
The time-consuming part of this service is cleaning the valve cover and surrounding area. (depending of how dirty)
Care in un-plugging the coils, and moving the various wiring harness out of the service area. Don't force anything or get in a hurry.
If you unplug any harness connectors take masking tape and mark the connector on both parts to insure you return them correctly. Numbering is a better way to mark them like #1 for the male side and #1 for the female side then #2 and #2 etc.. This way if you have a number without a pardoner you know to look for it before your complete your service. Don't force a connector to separate they will unplug if you are doing it correctly. Look at how the connectors are locked together.
If you get into something that you question either ask on this thread of yours or PM me.

Thanks for your advice Callisto.
With this part Valve Cover Sensor Seal , does it fail often ?
Also with the VVT solenoid does this fail and is this the resaon why oil has escaped
So if I can manage to get the Sensor seal only for the solenoid to fail
My local Mazda dealer from memory sells the solenoid I hope thay have the sensor seal
