Bought a 2013 Neo Sedan in January this year. It has 2400km on it now and has just developed what I would call a top end ticking noise, the noise only started this past couple of days. I've read reports of this in other forums, not just with the 3 but with other Mazdas. I don''t think this is considered "normal" for this engine? I do have some experience with this type of noise and it's very disconcerting, especially on a brand new car. I actually think it idles pretty rough for a brand new car.

Check your fluids, but yes definitely get it towed back to the dealership.
