Default Electrical problem affecting radio and display

Hi.
Have a Mazda 3, 2007 disel.
I have a strange electrical problems. The radio, the display with clock, the display in the dashboard showing thrip A/B etc. turns off intermittently and sometimes stays off for days.
The lights and ignition and windows always work. The remote locking sometimes work but not when the radio etc. is not turning on.
I have checked all the fuses in the box on the driver side under the bonnet. They all seem to be OK.
Any suggestions what might be the problem here ?

Sounds like a loose connection. It may be very hard to find.

Start with the terminal board under the glovebox. Remove the plastic cover and loosen it to pull it down. Check all the connections, they use levers to clip them down. Disconnect the battery then open and re-close each clip.

Check connections behind radio. Remove the radio and open and close each clip.

As you do each of these things look for pinched wires, slightly pull the wires to see if its loose, etc. Loose wiring is a challenge to resolve.

I have disconnected the battery and opened and closed all connections in the terminal board under the glove box and checked all connections behind the radio. None of this has fixed the problem.
One thing I noticed is that if I turn the indoor lights off (the lights in the ceiling above the dashboard and above the rear seats) then the light behind the display for the radio, clock etc. starts blinking. This is regular blinking. Donīt know if this might be a clue to something ?

Blinking in a regular determined fashion? Like in an exact pattern? That is weird.

The only interaction I can think of between those lights would be the dimmer controls or the internal light controls. When it does the off thing have you tried adjusting the dash dimmer wheel? Maybe it has a bad spot.

Odd problem.
