Hey all,
I have a 2011 Mazda 3i that suddenly decided to not start the other day. The battery is only a couple months old, I tried to jump it from a jumpbox which indicated that the battery was indeed charged so it's not that. When I turn the key in the ignition, nothing happens. No clicking, no dash lights nada. I can't get headlights to turn on either. I thought maybe it was the starter, but I wouldn't think that would cause the headlights to not work either, so I know the issue is electrical, but now I'm stuck. I don't have any mechanic friends or a way to get it to a shop for a proper diagnoses, hence my posting here. Any thoughts or ideas on things I can do to troubleshoot further would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a fuse. Check both fuse boxes.

 

Possibly a bad ignition switch. Have him check that.

 

When you hook up your jump box, did you check the headlights?

 

Have you tried jump starting it with jumper cables & another vehicle?
