Default Ebay ground kit??

i was looking at a buddy club condenser and saw the price and said fck it, too much money to dump out for such a small mod. The voltage stabalizer kits on ebay are like 50$ with shipping....do those work who have had experience with these? (the ebay ones)

you could do the same thing with a handful of 4 awg wire. all that the kit does is give you a splitter and wires and you could just use the post as the splitter and run the grounds to common grounding points.

I've never understood the need for such heavy wire in a low voltage, low current application? Since you're basically adding to something that is already grounded, or in the case of a TB, doesn't draw much current and has a floating ground in the harness. I wouldn't use 24ga for example, but 4 ga is way overkill imo. There for a tough look.

I was raised on pure american muscle, my "fast car" is a '67 plymouth with 458 ci of displacement so the whole idea of ground kits kind of escaped me. My freind has an SVT focus and he insisted we do one. So 10 ft of 4GA cable and about 10 wire ends later it was done. He said it smoothed out his idle and made the car generally run better, how, I have no idea. Point being we only spent $25 and accomplished the same function.
