Default Debadging

New to the forum, And just bought an 06 velocity Red 4dr. Loving it. I want to debadge the rear, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to do this. Are the badges just on there with a 3m adhesive, or are they on there like some older honda's, and if i get them off there will be 2 holes?

thanks jason

Some have holes, some don't. I had the emblems off and painted mine dark grey with wheel paint (so that I didn't have to weld up the holes), but I can't remember which ones leave holes.

I believe only the "3" is adhesive and both the "Mazda" and the flying wing emblem have locating holes + adhesive tape.

open your trunnk and pry away at the liner(carefully, yo umay want to see if there's any screws, clips to remove from someone of more experience) and see if there are holes in the sheetmetal.

I looked my old badges tonight. The 3 has no holes and the mazda and flying M have holes. All use adhesive tape as well.
