Angry cold engine start, studdering problem

i have a 2008 mazda 3 2.0 liter, and when i start it when it is cold, there is studdering for about the first 30 seconds, then runs normal. Is this common for the 2.0's????

That is tough one for me, since I have a 2.3 in mine.
Does it do it all the time?
Is it something that is ongoing, like more than one tank of gas?
How many miles are on the car?
IF it is something that persists, I would take it in to your Local Mazda dealer and have them start it up after it is cooled down so they can hear it.

BTW Welcome to the site

Default thanks!

thanks for the welcoming. it happens everytime when the engine is cold. i went to the dealer about it and they said they cant find anything. i just hit 20k miles on it. last year it happened so bad that my check engine light turned on so they gave me a new intake manafold and the light hasn't come on since but the studdering still remains
