My wife just bought a new 2012 Mazda 3 touring. I may be nuts, but I cannot figure out the clip thingie that holds the hood support rod when you fold it and stow it away before closing the hood. It does not seem to actually snap into place; it just kind of rests down against the part that looks like it should be a clip. Are we missing some tiny piece that clips it tighter, or is that how these are supposed to be?
