I have a 2006 Mazda 3 with the Bose sound system, but no in dash navigation. I want to use the factory radio to control my sirius radio, but really dont want to spend 400 bucks. I found this item at crutchfield, and they say it will work, but I want to be sure...any suggestions?

 

Nope, that won't work with mazda's made-by-clarion HU, just for aftermarket ones. You can usually find the mazda sirius package on ebay for about $150. Multiple forum members (here and other forums) have bought from the same user and everything worked perfectly fine.

is better if u spend the 400 (i think its less now) on the mazda sirius, i have an 04 mazda3 (firsts ones!) and had to do this to my car in order to get sirius.
