Default CEL light and idle woews!

My Check engine light comes on periodically.
I have been having problems everytime I gas up my car like clockwork.
Fill the tank up (not from empty) I fill up at quarter tank left.
Jump in the car, crank the ignition and the car will not want to fireup unless I hit the gas will cranking. It has happend the last few weeks everytime.

Today the CEL came on and the idle at a stop sounds like my car is ready to die.
I notice a post bellow about the idle highlighting the gas cap.

I have unfortunatly missed two dealer appointment to have it looked at due to my crazy schedule.
Anythoughts?

2007 Mazda 3s 30KMILES yikes.

Just a guess based on what you've told us here, but it sounds like you've developed a leak in the fuel recovery system of the car. Could even be the fuel cap itself.

Auto Zone has a new MAF for $80 American... the cheapest I've seen them.

Whatever it is, your car is under warranty, let the dealer fix it. Make the time to get it done, most dealers offer a loaner, so it shouldn't be that hard to get it handled.
