Hello, everyone.

I seem to be having another problem with my car. As my Mazda 3 starts to reach speeds of 65 MPH and over, the car starts to shake pretty hard. It had never shook like this before. And as you speed up, the shaking keeps getting worse. I took my car up to about 80 MPH and it really shook!

I just had new brakes (both front and back) and new struts installed. And my car was also aligned.

I should mention that the car really does not shake when you are driving at the lower speeds. Once you reach 60-65 MPH, though, the shaking begins.

Any ideas? Let me know, everyone.

Old Tires, Bad sidewalls

 

If its only happened after the mentioned repairs, I would almost guarantee the inner CV joints have popped out & fallen apart during the strut replacement.

Had the same happen a few weeks ago. Rebuilt/reassembled both inner joints and the vibration went away.
