so my car got hit yesterday night as someone decided to smash into my fender bumper area and took off. im not claiming insurance as im not having my rates go up. plus the deductible anyhow is about what its gonna cost to fix it. but im pissed and now gotta spend money i DONT have. **** bad week. but my new job kicks ***

Idk how the insurance companies are up there in Canada, but if it's not your fault, and it's a hit and run, I believe you shouldn't have to pay anything and your rates won't go up a penny. I'd get ahold of them and ask, couldn't hurt.

 

That sucks jaimie.....hope you get it fixed up fairly quick. Maybe it's just an opportunity to get a custom from bumper.

 

Not knowing who your insurance company is but typically "Hit and Runs" can't be held as an at fault incedent. You will have to pay the Collision Deductible, but it's cheaper than paying the whole thing yourself.

 

**** **** **** ****. well if the car accident doesnt make it bad. guess what. they are fixing it. yay. and i HAD a rental car. untill about 6 am this morning when i hit black ice and crashed my car into the ditch writing it off. fack
