A link woulda' been nice though, Drac:
Nope. That is why I put "that is all" in my post. I left it up to people to deduce the origin of the story rather than being spoonfed by the populous.

But you solved it for me. Thanks.

Love to look of the C30. I saw one in Pa on our recent trip and from the outside it looks very fly. The inside is a bit boring though. Typical Volvo conservative, yet the outside is so modern... up-to-date? Who designed this beast?
It ain't no replacement for the 1800ES of old though. That car was cool inside and out, if not kinda' slowfor it's time ('72-'73.)
Same chassis as the 3,if it wasn't such an expensive DOGGGG!!!! The MS3 will still kick it's *** in many ways... including sales, I'm sure.

I REALLY like the rear exterior design of the C30. The way its tail lights frame the glass hatch, in addition to how the D-pillars softly flows into its shapely rear quarter panel, is so sexy. [sm=drlove.gif] The twin tail pipes, tidily housed beneath a non-protruding rear bumper, finishes the look very nicely. [sm=smiley20.gif] With that said, the car's front, profile and interior appear far less sporty - if not bland - in comparison to the MS3. Furthermore, the novelty of a relatively small glass hatch will ultimately become a disappointment in situations where cargo ingress/egress is more essential than mere aesthetics. [sm=sigh.gif] ** steps off MS3 owner-biased soap box**

VERY well put!!! And I couldn't agreewith your findings more.
It's a shame really.I was behind one the other day for a short distance and loved it!! Andas you say, the tails flow beautifully into the hatch glass area and frame it nicely... but could never buy one for many of the reasons you've already stated. That and 6~8K MORE than an MS3.
