After some serious research I am sorry to report that Tokico STILL does not offer an alternative for the Mazda3 series, only the 6's.
Their std HP's ("Blues") would be a nice addition to the list of available shocks, IMO.

You won't get away with much. Perhaps 5mm when dropped that far. You might even have to roll your fenders so the tires won't rub.

Don't forget to get those camber links and a full alignment after the springs go in, or you'll be buying new rubber every 10k.

I'm worried about you. I'm glad you are asking questions and doing research. That's good. But you are so interested in getting the car dropped, yet like so many other young'uns on a seriously restrained budget and not seeing the big picture. It's not just about spending $200 on a set of springs. It's about $200 more for camber links, and $100 more for an alignment.
Then further down the road the OE shocks will give out due to the added strain, replacing the OE shocks with ones that are designed to handle a lowered car... figure another +/-$400.
What about sway bars? You may want a heavier rear bar so the car doesn't roll as much, especially when lowered 1.5"-1.8"? Another $150- $400. Then heavier sway bar links to hande that strain. +/- $200. Then there is regular maintainence and repairs that have nothing to do w/modding. It all begins to add up.

Everything you do to a car is a compromise. Change one thing and it always affects others. You've got to look at the big picture or you'll end up w/an expensive and undriveable nightmare on your hands, and you won't be able to afford it.

i agree, well said but just because im not talking about all thoes other thing i have been thinking about them lol and im not just gunn go out and buy spring tomorrow lol i saving enough to get and allinment too then after the allinment ill start saving for the links then ill save for the struts. i try to spend my money wisely i try to do one small mod per pay check then save some for the bigger mods so i am still getting things done while saving for the big picture (like painting the rims, calipers, tinting the marker lights, independent for light mod, my hid's will be in tomorrow!!!!! and my halos sometime laer this weeks!!, so i have things to keeps me busy while still saving.

but i really appreciate the consern and all the very very usefull information you and all the other guys give me!!!

oh and p.s. i wasnt really planning on getting spacers ive just seen alot of guys out there talking about then and wondered what your guys take on them was lol
