Default Can an engine from a Mazda 6 2004 (2.0 petrol) fit in my 2007 Mazda 3 (2.0 petrol)

About a week ago i bought a Mazda 3 from what seemed like an honest man, a week later it lost compression on cylinder 3 and oil on the spark plugs in cylinder 1 and 2. Mazda 3's aren't common where i live and parts er far between and expensive. but there is a Mazda 6 (2.0 petrol) for sale at scrap price. Is it kind of easy to take the engine from the 6 and move over into mine. I am an mechanics apprentice (2nd year) i just want to know if it will fit.
