Hi everyone, I tried to update the version of the multimedia system and I must have done something wrong and now there is only a radio and the screen is black without any display

Which generation of Mazda3 do you have? (Sorry to ask this question, but it might help if you specify just so if I could provide an answer)

To elaborate a bit more on my question, most Mazda enthusiasts split up the model years of the Mazda3 by generations.

Gen1 Mazda3

Gen2 Mazda3

Gen3 Mazda3

Gen4 Mazda3

Gen1 Mazda3 (2003-2009)
Gen2 Mazda3 (2010-2013)
Gen3 Mazda3 (2014-2018)
Gen4 Mazda3 (2019-present)

It will vary based on countries.

Thank you for your response!

I have a Gen4 Mazda3 so please my response to a grain of salt here.

There should be a way to reset the system on the Gen3. Try this method:

Press and hold down the volume ****, back button, and NAV button for about 10 seconds. This will reset your MAZDA CONNECT™ system.

I did that and it didn't help. The screen is completely black and there is only a radio
