I've just recently bought a Mazda Mazda3 s 2.3l 5 speed stick. I've noticed that when I drive kinda easy, it stutters on acceleration when I shift gears. If I get on it, it still stutters a very little bit. I filled my tank all the way up, and I've driven 174.2 miles, and I'm down to a quarter tank of gas. Can someone please give me some pointers on how to fix this?

 

Time for a tune up - new plugs, new air & fuel filters, throttle body clean, MAF clean.

Get it scanned for codes, get the live data for the Air/fuel sensor & O2 sensors checked, ( slow,sluggish, delayed reaction from A/F sensor will mean its faulty ) Also live data for short term & long term fuel trims too.
