Title says pretty much every thing. I have a 04 mazda 3 with 22K.(2.3L) I have had a cold air intake for about 1 year on it and was wondering how safe they are with this particular vehicle? I really havent thought much about it but it rains alot in Portland Oregon and wonder if i am putting my engine up to a big risk or should I remove the intake?
I have noticed a little gains, but if I am at serious risk for hydrolocking then I will remove it?? Anyone opinons would be helpful!!

if you havent had a problem in 365 days, i wouldnt worry about it. Just dont drive into a pond a rev it to 4k rpm... ive been in flooding situations before with a CAI on my Jetta VR6 and never had a problem...you should be okay.
