i like the first one the most, careful tho..since your car is lowered you might have trouble rubbing.

Yeah, plus they don't give you very much to go on either, like... "Fits other Japanese cars too."
I'd be worried if I wuz U. Most of what they're listing are RWD cars.

well, the rims are 18x8's, with a +45 offset.
and plus, ive seen other people on other forums with these same rims, or different rims (but same dimensions) with no problems.

i might have to roll the fenders tho....

45's ain't too bad. Helluva lot better than 40's or even 42's.
Where did you find that? I couldn't find any application charts or offset specs on that site you posted. It kept takingme from one page to another and back again, and neither of them were very specific.

I don't know man.....The 17x7 Mazda6 wheels I have are a 60mm offset....giving me 28.9mm from the mounting surface of the wheel to the outer edge of the rim.

(3.5"*25.4mm)-60mm=28.9mm

The 18x8 w/45mm offset would put you at 56.6mm from the mounting surface to the outer edge of the rim....
(4"*25.4mm)-45mm=56.6mm

I know I don't have over an inch of clearance (27.7mm)between the tire and the inner lip of the fenders.

I don't think those will fit without some kind of body modification (rolled lip, maybe even "pull" the fender out. I've seen this done as a cheap "widebody" look.)

ya if youre gonna run those wheels youre def. gonna need to roll your fenders. Im running 17x7 with 215/45/17 tires, and i rub occasionally with rolled fenders.

OEM offset for the 3 is +52.5, and while I'd rather get something closer to that, and will (I'm looking @ a set of +50's,) a +45 is only -7.5mm difference/side. Not too far off the 5mm +/- mark that was recommended to me by the "experts"(?) some time ago... also on a FWD car.

Problem is that offset is on a 6.5" wide wheel, not an 8" wide wheel like he is looking at.

52.5mm offset on a 6.5" wheel gives you 30mm from mounting surface of the wheel to the outer edge of the rim.
45mm offset on an 8" wide wheel gives you 56.6mm.....still an additional 26.6mm you are adding to the outside edge of your stock wheels.

I have friends who work for Mazdaspeed.....biggest they recommend is 18x7.5" with 52.5mm offset....giving you ~42mm from mounting surface to outer edge (only an additional 1/2" in width to the outside of the wheel over stock.....this will fit within your wheelwell assuming you don't go too big on the tires.)

so.... are you saying that a 18x8 inch rim, with a +45 offset, with 215/40/18 rubber will be fine???

p.s. i got me some prices on those rims too
the rims (either ones) are $1150/set
the tires are anywhere form $850 - $1000/set
(cdn dollars, btw)
