installed and been running my fujita f5 for 2 days, no problem once so ever and dam it feels and sounds so nice. The injen replica made the rpm band a bit rough and gave it a boost like it had v tech at about 4 grand the fujita is real nice though.

yea when im at 3k i feel a change in speed when im slowly gassin it, it all of a sudden speeds up. i wonder what it is. thats also the point in which the leaky air noise i hear goes away.hmm

Remember, 3K is about where the VVT really starts to kick inthough. I have always noticed an increase in power right at that point,no matter which (of the 3) intake systems I've had on the car.Mazda's VVT isnot a very subtle.

i feel my vvt kick in like its v tech at like 5 grand 5-6, thats when you really see the ponnies running with you on the side of the car.

that would be known as the high-end torque that the intake unleashes out of your beast.

im pretty sure the vvt doesnt just 'kick in' at any specific rpm. it activates in accordance with throttle position...

yea vvt doesnt kick in it goes according to the car not like v tech, ivenever owned rice before (no offense) was never a fan of it but i did drive a few hondas since most my friends had them and they are quick but not my type. Vtech has a punch to it vvt is all around the rpm band or at least what i think.
