Default Air Conditioning not cold?

So we're approaching the summer months, and I've noticed that my air conditioning isn't cold.. like at all. It doesn't matter what fan setting is on, it either blows warm air lightly or heavily. Any ideas?

couple of things to remember, under heavy or wot the a/c will not work. that aside you could just simply need to replace the cabin air filter (if you have one) or (hopefully not) there is something wrong with your a/c system like a leak, clog or something like that. I suggest having a garage do a a/c pressure check to see if things are within the correct range. just remember that it has to be atleast 65-70F to get a correct analysis.

corn, im 90% sure that it was her txv (thermal expansion valve) they replaced, its used to determine the temp of the refrigerant coming in and adjust accordingly. That particular type is located in the dash attached to one of the tubes, the one for the 3 is an h-block style which is located in the firewall and is much easier to gain access by removing the two refrigerant line running to it and then taking the bolt out. The only way that could go bad is if the system has been tampered with and is now contaminated and clogged.
