My Mazda 3 air bags indicator light just pop out and I had it check out with a computer
and didn't show nothing wrong. Did anybody had that problem before?

Which light? The one in the instrument cluster or the one below the radio.

If it's the one below the radio, it's normal asthat is the weight sensing system in the passenger seat. The light will come on to show the passenger airbag has been disabled when there is a low weight detected in the pass seat. (Not sure what the threshold is).

If the airbag light is on in the cluster, then it should be tripping a code. I don't think you can read that with a regular OBDII diagnostic. Best to take it to the dealer and have it checked out.

You could also try resetting it by disconnecting the battery for 10 mins or so, then reconnecting....?
Perhaps it was just a momentary glitch that caused it to come on in the first place?

Sstlaure, Could you please explain why the airbag light can not be read by the OBDII tool, thanks.

My passanger airbag is off light ( the one that is below the radio) comes on all the time, regardless if someone is in the passenger seat or not. One time I had a very heavy bag in the passenger seat & the passenger airbag is off light stayed lit the entire trip. I thought the light is supposed to go off if there is 65lbs ( I think that is what the manual says)or more in the seat.

I've never tried reading airbag codes before, but my understanding of the OBDII port is that it pertains to engine mgmt codes (CEL), not any kind of restraint/safety device code. It's possible I could be wrong, as I said, I've never had to pull airbag codes before.

I know that the air bags have their own control module mounted under the center console (Bosch) but I do not know if/how it interconnects/interacts with the EM ECU.
