2019 mazda 3 istop han't been working for couple months
Hi, there. I'm the owner of 2019 mazda 3 Hatchback G25 GT. Couple months ago, I jumped up the battery due to 24/7 Dashcam. Actually it was not my first time jump up the battery. Maybe 3 times? BTW, from the date, istop is not working. I guess it's not because of the battery. On the Energy Flow Monitor, Battery and A/C are good. The problem is look like an Engine. I thought it because of weather. Couple months ago, it was winter therefore average temperature was around 10 degree. Til now, it's not working at all
To be honest this situation feels good. Normally, I turned off the istop when I'm driving.
Somehow, it feels not good. You know.. it's totally different between I'm not using it because I don't want and I can not use it because of malfunction.
Your car is covered by a 5yr warranty. Book it in with Mazda.
Just day before, I got a scheduled service for 20,000km. Of course I asked them about the engine light disabled for istop. When I pick up the car after service, they said everything is good and mentioned on the paper istop no issue. Yes.. there's no amber light on the cluster. Maybe it's not a issue. I just wondering what is that light meaning and what is the condition to turn on the light.
