Default 2014 Mazda3 heat/AC issues

Hey guys, I have a 2014 Mazda 3 that seems to have an issue with the heat/ac. Basically there seems to be little to no adjustability in terms of temperature. It's either extremely hot, neutral, or freezing cold. For example, if you have it on max heat and decide to adjust the temperature, it is exactly the same hot air temperature until you get to the 'neutral' setting on the dial. The AC works about the same way - it's freezing cold air until you get down to the 'neutral' setting as well.

I can never get a comfortable temperature in the car, so I always have to adjust the temperature repeatedly and it's becoming extremely frustrating. It just seems like the actuator has 3 'notches' that it jumps between - hot as hell, neutral, or super cold. I just figured I'd check here and see if anyone else has the same issue as I do. I recently took it in for service and of course the problem couldn't be replicated... the tech did not take vent temps, but said he could if I brought it in again and left it for a day. Anyway, I'd love to hear feedback from people here - I could just be crazy, who knows.

Thanks!

edit: I do not have the climate control feature

Simple fix, just take it into your local Mazda Dealer for them to fix under warranty.
