I am new to Mazdas and really, cars with tpms sensors. I recently picked up a 2012 i Sport that has factory steel wheels and covers with the original sensors. I found a used set of aftermarket wheels/tires that have new TPMS sensors installed but they are off a 2010 Subaru Forester. The wheels are the correct 5x114.3 and the Subaru owner was using adapters. I know they operate at 315mhz. Will these be compatible with my Mazda 3 or will I need to take it somewhere to have them programmed to my car? It is a good deal on the wheel/tire package but I don't want to fall into a trap where the tpms sensors don't work on my Mazda 3 and I have to have them replaced anyway.
