Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and have a really cranky car right now.
Car has 130000ish miles. Was running rough and then wouldn't start. Changed Mass airflow sensor and ran ok for a few days then CEL came on. Now car is running poorly(rough idle, now pick up, etc) and CEL goes on and off. Car has p0172 code again and 6 new ones U3003-16,17-Battery voltage too low or high. U0428-64,62-invalid date received from SASM U0140-00-lost communication with bcm and last but not least U0401-00 invalid data received from ECM/PCM. Someone suggested I change ECM. Easy enough t change but this is an expensive part and I read it may need programming? Thoughts??

 

You need to view live data on a scan tool & monitor the Air/fuel sensor and downstream O2 sensor.
