2010 Mazda 3 extreme oil burn off?

2010 Mazda 3 extreme oil burn off?
My Mazda has used or burnt up 3 quarts of oil in the last 3 weeks, however it does not leak any oil on the ground, was told could possibly be the pcv? It has 112k miles, any thoughts or help is appreciated.

Highly unlikely, as in virtually impossible, a bad PCV could possible be the cause of that much oil consumption. What does the inside of your tail pipe look like and what color is your exhaust?

The inside of my tail pipe is black but the exhaust is clear but when running shoots out wet black specs

Bad sign, pretty good bet the engine has some internal issues (typically valves/valve guides and/or rings and cylinder walls). Just curious, do you have the 2.0 or 2.5 liter engine?
