Default 2010 BL Mazda 3 (UK) GPS and i-stop not working.

Hello all,

Recently my 2010 Mazda 3 Sport has had issues with the Sat Nav.
There is zero GPS signal and it thinks I'm in the middle of the north sea. Searching has proved fruitless.
I have disconnected the battery and left it over an hour before reconnecting, no fix, although now my clock is four dashes (assume it uses the GPS), and now i-stop is not working.
I have checked and the normal things that would mean i-stop wouldn't work are not a problem, or at least, a week ago under same conditions the i-stop was working fine.

Anyone any idea. I've searched high and low on forums and nothing has been specifically good as a fix for these exact circumstances.

Thanks in advance

Nick

Disconnecting the battety will require a i-stop relearn.

Has any repairs or work been carried out on the vehicle prior to GPS issues?

No, no repairs done to the vehicle at all, the GPS was working fine, then over the period of a few weeks it was intermittent in working, and then losing signal, and now it has no signal whatsoever.

How long does the I-stop take to relearn?

Thanks

Did anybody solve this? I have the same problem. 2011 Mazda 3 in the UK. Car has navigation through the heads up display however it doesn’t seem like I’m getting a gps signal. Have taken apart the top half of the dash and there is no GPS receiver/antenna underneath the instrument cluster like in the US spec cars. Does anyone know where the antenna is for these cars?

Same here, it happened to me once before, the dealer unscrewed the antenna and put it back again and it worked.
It has happened again this week - I'm in the North Sea too.
has anyone else resolved this without a trip to the Dealer, please?
