Default 2005 mazda 3 - braking problem

Hello,

Ihave a 2005 mazda 3 and i took it to the dealer to make the rear brakes and after 2 weeks i have seen that the brakes are making too much dust in back and almost nothing in front.

i took it again to the dealer and they told me that it's ok that the rear brakes makes more dust than the front brakes.

really, this is the first time i hear this. For me it's that the car is braking for rear than front.

has anyone heard something like that? does this car have this problem? what can i do ? take to the dealer and have them re check the brakes again.

Thank you in advance.

I don't know if they turned the Rotors but if they didn't the breaking in of the new pads could cause that and it could also be a different material on the pads themselves.
But you are right, the bias is more on the front brakes over the rear.

The bias of the brakes is towards the front, however the composition of the OEM rear pads produces more dust than the front ones. It's a pretty common problem. Try having the pads replaced with a low dust ones.
