noises when braking. what are they?

everytime i brake and im about to come to a complete stop i could hear a weird noise coming from the passengers side it sounds like a rotating thud noise but I have no idea what could be causing it. any ideas? i have a mazda 6 2003

how old are the brakes? auto tranny or manual shift? front or back? brakes hot or normal?

There is a TSB out for the 03. Doesnt meant the dealer has to replace it, mine always made a moan when I would turn into a spot. best bet is to get new after market brakes.
