Well in my quest to find some aftermarket wheels, I really was concerned about the weight. In order to keep the great MPG that the skyactiv gets I needed to know the wheel weight of the stock 16" alloy wheels.
I finally found someone selling a wheel and asked they weigh it for me.
At first they said net weight was about 22lbs... To which I replied, I'll pay you 10bucks to get the EXACT weight. The seller agreed so I paid 10bucks.

The seller weighed it on a Mettler gram scale.
Weighted in at 8605grams.
(453.6 grams per pound) = 18.9704 lbs
But he wasn't done. He weighed it again on another scale, his shipping scale.
The shipping scale weighed it in at:
18.95 pounds
The wheel didn't have the TPMS sender or a valve stem on it. So with those figured19lbs

Figured I would post it for those searching to replace their OEM and want to keep the MPG up on their new skyactiv. Mod away

Someone on another forum weighed the OE 5-spokes (17") that came on the earlier cars a few years ago when I was shopping for wheels, and he said it weighed in @ 19.4 - 19.6 lbs depending which scale, and which wheel he weighed them on. He had access to a veterinary scale as I recall.
Not a whole lotta' difference there. Surprising considering the 1" difference in diameter.
