This is so very weird. I'd never heard fo paint problems with such new vehicles. At least not problems that were'nt taken care of by Mazda. Are these vehicles out of warranty or is it not covered by way of godly lingo?? I'd be throwing a fit if my paint were doing this, it's unacceptable and untill these posts had never considered ever having paint issues!

Mine peels and chips easly...Its funny because Mazda sent me some touch up paint in the mail when my car hit about 5 or 7 thousand miles..My car is still relitivly new..i just hit 27500 miles and the paint is getting worse...I also noticesd the bumpers also are a little lighter in color, but i was told it is plastic rather then metal.

Slight color match differences between plastic/metal painted parts isn't unusual and shows up more on some colors than others.

I've got 46,000 miles (less than 2 years)on my 3 and there is a decent amount of chipping along the hood, but nothing I wouldn't expect given our roads and the kind of mileage I drive. No peeling of the paint.

I've noticed on the back quarter panels on my '07. It looks like they have fish eyes... I'm not sure if that's the correct term. They look like little bubbles under the paint.

I noticed more chipping around edges...the wierd thing is that in the middle of my drivers side door the first layer of paint just peeled off.

What color are your cars? I understand some colors are worse than others.
