Default Tie rod arm

My garage won’t do an alignment on my 2014 Mazda two because they are telling me the driver side inner tie rod arm has play in it. Only 30,000 km on the vehicle, is it common for these parts to wear out that soon mileage wise?

No its not common and likely caused from the owner. Don't take offence because .....the alignment shop should have given you a better indication as to the cause.

TWO's suspension was doing quite well at 45K Miles. Then my husband suffered some medical problem that required many trips to the medical center in Washington, DC - mainly on residential roads. Apparently, there is no maintenance budget. Mine was just one tie rod end kaput. So, no. Low mileage 2s should not have problems. However it depends on where you drive, road conditions, and how you drive.

Have someone look at it. I have seen them come loose. If it's worn their cheap and easy to replace.
