Default Seat Upholstery?

I have a 2013 Touring and would like to put seat heat in it. Does anyone know if the center seam on the seat cushion (front to back) and on the back (top to bottom) is connected to the under laying padding? Either by Velcro or any other means? Thanks!

The fabric is held to the foam pad with hog rings.

Thank you. However, I was referring to the center line stitching on the touring. The side seams are generally fastened to the foam to keep the cover in place. The touring also has a center stitched line. If it is attached to the foam, then a standard heating pad won't work. I've found a couple of sources for a split pad, but they are twice as dear.
