Mazda2 DJ series- wheel size question
Hello all! Hoping somebody can please help me.
I am taking delivery of a shiny new Mazda2 in a couple of months, and wish to install aftermarket wheels.
My question is simple, I think, however Mazda refuse to answer it - not boding well for the new car experience.
Also, no judgements, please.
I just wish to know, please, whether a set of 7.5 inch wide 17" wheels, with the identical offset as the OEM wheels - which I am told is 40 - will fit the DJ series, without interfering on the suspension side or with the wheel arches. I am happy to get the little right angles inside the arches flattened if that would be all that's needed.
The intention would be to install 215/45-R17 tyres on these wheels, in order to maintain the closest rolling diameter to that which the car comes with as stock.
I've been messed around by a few people regarding this, so I do hope that somebody can please give me a straight answer either way.
Alternatively, what would be the wheel/tyre width limit that's safe to hit without causing any rubbing, crunching issues?
Thanks all for your time and, possibly, help.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, g_r, I appreciate it. However I am after actual first-hand knowledge.
The second site doesn't feature the Mazda2 DJ series, and the first site I had found in my travels - I have done a LOT of research, I've come here as pretty much a last resort - but that one is far from definitive.
I have read conflicting reports as to whether the size I want to use will or won't fit without dramas, and am just really hoping for a definitive, once and for all answer based on experience, not conjecture.
