Mazda 2 Throttle hesitation on LPG
Hello everyone,
I have a Mazda 2 2008 1.3 on around 280.000 km with a Landi Renzo LPG system. It has a problem on LPG when i press the gas pedal rapidly it hesitates in around 1000-1500 rpm, if i press it gently the problem doesnt occur and if on move it feel like a shake when i press the gas pedal heavly, i changed the spark plugs, tried new Coils but the problem was still there. (Those were the problems that the mechanic told me). I checked the lpg system to the shop that I do the maintance and it seems that the problem is not with the lpg system.
If i run too much on Petrol the check engine light comes on, i checked it and it says that it has a problem with catalyct converter, if i run again on lpg for some miles the engine light goes off on its own. I cleaned the throttle body, the MAF sensor. Does anyone have any idea on this problem? I was looking on checking the O2 Sensor but i wanted to share this with you first as someone may have any idea. I really love this car and i want it to run smoothly.

Because your choice of fuel is LPG (Liquid Propane gas) you must find a service technician that is trained in diagnosis engine troubles based on the use of LPG type fuel being used. There is no factory LPG system so whatever you have is aftermarket and I suggest contacting that company that either installed it or the company that supplied the kit.
