Hi everyone, I need some advice on the airbag connectors on the DY models.
I need to replace the airbags in a 2005 Mazda 2 DY which has the 2 x 2 Pin connectors and I can get replacements from a 2007 model but they have the single 2 pin connector. Does anyone know if its possible to connect the 2 pin airbag to the 2x2 connectors and how to do it or where to get the information from?

Definitely the wrong part.

DY has two stage deployment & DE has single stage deployment.

Airbags are a critical safety item and not something to mess around with or try dodgy repairs. Remember, your life depends on their safe operation.
