I wanted to know the no of units of Mazda 2 3 door Hatchback(2007-2014). Did it get discontinued ?? Is it good to buy if it's discontinued ??

 

It was discontinued along with the 4dr & 5dr when the new model was launched. DE replaced by DJ & DL.

 

Thanks. After getting your info on the Mazda 2 DE Series. I checked second hand cars available in your country and found out via carsales.au website. I found out 3door version was available only in DE Series One and not DE Series Two. Now I didn't check other websites. so I am not 100% sure but I think they stopped selling 3 door Mazda 2 in 2011 and 2012-2014 only 4 door was the choice. All these are assumptions so please don't quote me on this. Nonetheless thank you so much for your help.

 

There's nothing different mechanically ( engine, drive train & brakes ) between the 3dr or 4dr or 5dr Mazda 2.

If they are common in your market, you should have no hesitation buying one, purely because of body panel differences.
