Default MAP Sensor location and removal - Mazda 2 (DY) 1.5L ZY-VE

Where is the MAP sensor located on the ZY-VE engine, and how is it removed?

I have found two sensors which I think may be the MAP sensor (photos attached)

This is under the left side of the air box (facing the windscreen(

This is on the right side of the intake manifold
but I am not sure. Also, one of them appears to be harder to remove than MAP sensors on other cars I've seen.

Any help much obliged.

Default MAP sensor

Hey, I have the same engine and I need to upgrade the OEM map sensor to one that could register positive boost since I turbocharged my engine. Any luck finding the MAP sensor on this engine? Thanks

Hi. It is not visible to me anywhere looking into the engine bay

Based on that, I believe it is likely fitted inside the intake manifold itself. While I have not removed the manifold myself, I am almost certain that's where it is. Hope that helps.

Wow! Well thanks for your quick response. What were those other 2 sensors you sent pictures of by the way?

Ah, I was thinking of a different car. The MAP sensor on the ZY-VE engine is shown in the first photo, under the left-hand side of the air filter housing. You will need to remove the air filter housing to access it. Not sure what it is in the second photo.
