Leaking Injector Connection

Default Leaking Injector Connection
My 1.4 diesel has one injector with a leak. The fuel pipe joins an adaptor which joins the injector. Is there supposed to be an o-ring in the joint?

In the area of the arrow that type of AN fitting does not use oil ring
