How to enter radio code - New Battery fitted
My 2009 Mazda 2 failed to start this morning due to a flat battery.
After fitting a new battery the radio now won't work and just shows "CODE".
Any idea where I could find out what the code is, also how do i enter it.
Thanks for any help offered.

This is for DIY not practiced in a professional service shop.
Did you happen to touch the battery terminal more then one time on the last cable attaching to the battery. If so disconnect the battery again ground cable, then the positive cable. IN THAT EXACT ORDER
The after about 5 minutes reconnect the positive cable and then last the ground cable IN THAT EXACT ORDER and do not touch the batter terminal more then one time during the reconnection of either cable. Even lightly touching it can send a voltage through the vehcle and to the ECU and BCM.
After this see if everything now works correctly?

i did a search on your problem and came up with this.
to find your mazda 2 radio code, check the owner's manual or look for a sticker in the glove box. if you cannot find the code there, a mazda dealer can provide it using your vin and proof of ownership. avoid entering incorrect codes, as this can permanently lock the radio.
good luck!
